Rhetorical Situation: A piece of writing is shaped and influenced by its surrounding circumstances and contexts. It has five parts its described by: purpose, audience, topic, writer, and context. All of these different tools helps everyone to better understand what it is a person is trying to say.
Discourse Community: A group of people almost like a niche that share a specific set of beliefs or goals. These people in this group use their communication to help them collectively achieve these goals they set out for.
Reflection: This may mean a lot of different things, reflecting on yourself, your own work or the work of others. I reflect on my life and things that I’ve done and haven’t done a fair amount. Looking back on something that was a goal that you fell short of can sometimes be extra motivation to push towards something even better.
